Founded in 1958, the Mesquite Championship Rodeo started from humble beginnings but has gone on to become one of the most popular rodeos in the world. The season typically runs from June – August and is supplemented with other great events at the Mesquite Arena.

See The Rodeo!
Ok, this one was obvious, but the rodeo is an action-packed event. If you haven’t been at least once, you’re missing out! The season begins Saturday, July 2nd and is every Saturday night through October 1st.

Much like the rodeo, BBQ is a Texas tradition. Mesquite Arena offers one of the finest dining pleasures where you can fill up on some good food before the rodeo starts. The menu includes:
